Today I decided to change a few things in my life. For starters, I'm going to start making a budget and keeping track of all of my finances. Online banking is a big ol' biotch, and it screws me up moreso than it helps. So I'm keeping track of everything on paper. Old school (and that's sad that it is old school to write things out nowadays). I'm getting track of my spending, and I'm putting limits on what I do. I opened a new savings account because I was using my first one to store my bill money... and I realized that was not what a savings account is for, haha. SO I renamed my old savings account "Rent/Bills Fund." Hooray for me.
Next, I joined the online community called Spark People. It's a tracking tool for nutrition, fitness and weight loss. I'm hoping this will kick my ass into shape and keep better care of my body by watching/tracking what I eat. It's not like I have ample amounts of time on my hands to track everything; I'm just trying to be smarter about what I do. I also need to be smart and just sign up for the GRE. It's getting down to the wire, and I still haven't done it yet. Come on, Chris. GET TO IT! All I need is $160... hahaha, easier said than done. Maybe my parents can help me with that. I hope so, it's for a better future for their darling boy. We'll see. Ack. I will figure it out. I forgot to budget for it, which sucks. I just need a day where I'm not running around to sit down and focus on all of this stuff. Maybe during rehearsal tonight I can get a break since we're doing act two... and I'm in the act for a total of five minutes. Holla.
Remind me to sign up for the GRE. I have to do it. Have to.

Spread a Little Sunshine
So I realize it has been a month since I last posted. I do apologize to those who read my blog. A lot has been going on in my life since the days of CNU ended. I left CNU officially in June to start my next chapter back in Richmond. After a month 1/2 of living at home, I moved in with my friend Kelly. It's been a show to say the least. We're crazy together, and it has been pretty wicked. I love living here, and I am almost on my way to a good job. Right now, I work as a Concierge over the phone for Visa customers. If you Google Visa Concierge, you can see what I do. Well, let me just say this: I absolutely hate it. It's been a nightmare going to work, and I hate to work just for good money. If I'm not happy, it's gotta go. So lucky me found another job: Interning with Barksdale! I know, I can't believe I got a job in my field right after graduating college... in theater no less. I feel blessed I got two jobs after graduation, so I wish everyone else the best of luck. You can always have my old job :P
The title of my entry is "Spread a Little Sunshine" for the number in Pippin. Yes, I am doing one of my favorite shows again. Last time, in 2005, I played a player. Now I am playing Lewis, the half brother of Pippin. I get to be an evil mama's boy. I'm pretty much bipolar, and it's great. I love the acting part, and I really enjoy the choreographer who plays my mom. She has been using me a ton in the show as a dancer, and I've been helping her with choreography. Yay, I like this. I've been doing some great theater things post-college, so life is pretty great.
Maybe I'll update tomorrow at work tomorrow if an interesting topic comes while I watch CNN at work...
